New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a clarification regarding DM, MCh courses of which the NEET SS Counselling is being conducted for this year's admissions.

It is for the information to all NEET SS candidates that the Course Fee of D.M/ M.Ch courses shown against each course at the time of Choice Filling is that applicable for RECOGNIZED SEAT. However, the fee for a PERMITTED SEAT of the same course might be less.

Hence, participating super-specialty candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure from the concerned Institute before filling choices.

In this background, the MCC has now clarified:

The fee shown during choice filling is as per the information provided by the college and MCC should not be held liable in any issue pertaining to fee structure. Therefore, prior information should be sought from the college regarding the fee structure of each course in case of any ambiguity.

It is further informed that MCC does not make any distinction in Recognized or Permitted seat during seat processing and allotment is made strictly on the basis of merit and choices filled by the candidate.
