New Delhi: Once again, the Undergraduate Medical Education Board of National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for the medical colleges for filling up online details/data of students enrolled for 1st year MBBS degree for the academic year 2022-23.
The apex medical board has extended the deadline up to January 16, 2023, after taking note of the fact that the medical colleges did not upload the data within the stipulated time.
"Thus, as a one time measure the date of uploading said data in the NMC portal is once again extended till 16.01.2023. However, taking note of the fact that the medical colleges did not upload the data as a result of difficulties in monitoring the online data of the students, NMC had extended the deadline from December 31 to January 10, 2023.
Despite this, several medical colleges did not submit the data within time. Referring to this, NMC mentioned in the notice issued on January 10, 2023, "Kindly refer to the NMC circular of even number dated 20/12/2022 directing all medical colleges to fill up online details/data of students enrolled for 1st year MBBS degree for the academic year 2022-23. Despite giving sufficient time your medical colleges have not yet uploaded the data/details of the students enrolled for MBBS degree for academic year 2022-23. Non-uploading of data on the online format may entail difficulties in future."
As a one-time measure, NMC has now extended the deadline till January 16 and mentioned, "It is also emphasized that the terms, condition and guidelines issued vide letter of even number dated 20/12/2022.
