Visakhapatnam: Bringing good news to the Postgraduate medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has given its nod for increasing 15 PG medical seats for the Andhra Medical College (AMC) in the first phase.

While four seats will be increased each in the orthopaedic & biochemistry departments, six seats will be added in radiology and one in nephrology, adds TNIE.

NMC issued the Letter of Intent for the 15 PG medical seats in four departments after conducting an inspection of the college in respect to a proposal for increasing 131 PG seats in the college.
