Bhopal: The Indian Council of Medical Research has announced that Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre, Bhopal has 40 seats vacant for B.Sc. Nursing.
The candidates, who have appeared in NEET 2021-22, can apply for admission. The selection for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course will be made on the basis of NEET (UG) scored secured by the candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for B. Sc. Nursing -
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
2. Minimum educational requirements: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board and candidates appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks under AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
3. Admission only will be through NEET UG entrance examination.
4. Candidates are required to be medically fit.
The college has a 350-bedded multi-specialty tertiary care center situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The institute was started as per the directive of the honorable Supreme Court of India to provide advanced tertiary level super-specialty care to the victims of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy (1984) as well as to extend its services to the public at large. BMHRC is under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health And Family Welfare, Govt. of India
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, and promotion of biomedical research. It is one of the oldest and largest medical research bodies in the world and is funded by the Government of India through the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health, and Family Welfare.
ICMR carries out research on specific topics like tuberculosis, leprosy, cholera and diarrhoeal diseases, viral diseases, nutrition, food & drug toxicology, reproduction, immuno-hematology, oncology, etc.
