BFUHS Announces Walk-in Counseling Schedule For BSc Nursing

Faridkot: Walk-in counselling for admission to leftover BSc Nursing seats at the Institute of Nursing University Regional Centre Goindwal Sahib is scheduled for 10th February 2023. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced this through a written notice.

The candidate's personal appearance, along with all original certificates/documents and requisite fees, is a must. Any vacant seat under any reserved category due to the non-availability of candidates will be converted to an open category and filled accordingly. If any seat falls vacant after the dates of this advertisement, it will also be filled in the same counselling.

The candidates note that eligibility will be as per BFUHS and Punjab Govt. norms. The eligibility of a candidate will be finalized at the time of counselling. Application forms can be obtained by hand from the college office on any working day or downloaded from the university website, www.bfuhs.ac.in.

As per the notice, 3 seats are available for this round. 2 open seats and 1 BC seats are available.

Eligibility criteria –

1. Candidates need to be 17 years of age.

2. Candidates should qualify for 10+2 from a recognized board in the respective stream.

3. Candidates should hold a valid score on the PPMET entrance test.

Institute Of Nursing University Regional Centre Sri is a university-affiliated college in Goindwal Sahib, Tarn Taran, in Punjab. Institute Of Nursing University Regional Centre Sri was established in 2013 and affiliated with Baba Farid University Of Health & Medical Sciences, Faridkot, in 2013. The college is co-educational by its nature. The college has a sum of 20 acres of land.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
