BFUHS Informs About Counselling Schedule For Left Over Seats For Post Basic BSc Nursing Course

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) informs about the counseling schedule for leftover seats for the Post Basic BSc Nursing course (only for females).

Per the notice, on 26.12.2022, the walking counseling will be held for the above course at the State Institute of Nursing and Para Medical Sciences, Badal. Applications will be accepted till 10.00 am on 26.12.2022, and counseling will be held on the same day at 10.30 am sharp. 3 seats remain for the Post Basic BSc Nursing course, 1 in the open, 1 in SC, and 1 in Badal.

The candidate's personal appearance, original certificates/documents, and the requisite fee are a must. Any vacant seat under any reserved category due to the non-availability of candidates will be converted to an open category and filled accordingly.

If any seat falls vacant after the date of this advertisement, it will also be filled in the same counseling. In case of any query, the candidates need to get in touch with 78372-2779 and eligibility as per BFUHS and Punjab Govt. norms. Application forms can be obtained by hand from the college office on any working day or downloaded from the university website, www.bfuhs.ac.in.

After the provisional allocation of seats, candidates can download the provisional allocation letter from the University website after logging into their account and reporting to the allotted college along with all original documents for checking documents and their eligibility. Merely issuing of Provisional allotment letter does not confer any right to claim the allocated seat as their provisional allotment is subject to verification of documents and checking of eligibility as per terms and conditions of the Punjab Govt. Notification/Prospectus.

Eligibility criteria –

1. Candidate must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2020.

2. Candidate should have passed the GNM Nursing examination.

3. Should be a registered Nurse and Registered midwife with any state nursing registration council.

4. Candidates must have cleared 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
