Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the fee structure for B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic Nursing Courses.
As per KEA, the fee structure chargeable to the candidates seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing under Government Quota is Rs 6250 (Tuition Fee Rs 2000 + Misc. Fee Rs 4250).
The total fee for Post Basic Nursing is Rs 4280 (Tuition Fee Rs 230 + Misc. Fee Rs 4050) for Government College and Rs 10000 + RGUHS fee.
For B.Sc Nursing selection of candidates for admission Rules, 2003 have been promulgated by the Government of Karnataka in the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 145 (1) of the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 and section 14 of the Karnataka Educational Institutions (prohibition of capitation fee) Act, 1984. These rules have come into force from 03-07-2003.
For Post Basic Nursing, selection of candidates for admission has been promulgated by Karnataka in exercising the powers conferred on it by section 145(1) of the Karnataka Education Act.1983 and section 14 of the Karnataka Educational Institutions (prohibition of capitation fee) Act 1984. These guidelines have come into force from 05-11-2018.
KEA has further notified that the Selection of candidates for allotment to 1st year B.Sc. The Nursing Course shall be strictly in conformity with the provisions in the Karnataka selection of candidates for admission to Nursing, Rules, 2003.
The selection of candidates for allotment to Post Basic B.Sc Nursing shall be strictly in conformity with the provision contained in the Karnataka selection of candidates for admission to as per P.B.B.Sc Nursing guidelines No. HFW 381 MSF 2018 dated: 05.11.2018.
The candidates can check details related to courses on the website of KEA http://kea.kar.nic.in. Mock seat allotment will be conducted based on the merit and options entered by the candidates, and the results will be published on the KEA Website. After verifying the results, candidates can change, reorder, delete and add to their preference of courses/colleges. Afterward, round 1 seat allotment results will be published.
