DME Chhattisgarh invites applications for nursing admissions 2025, details
Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education, DME Chhattisgarh, has invited online applications from candidates seeking admission in MSc Nursing, BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing and Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric nursing courses.
As per the notice issued by the DME Chhattisgarh in this regard, candidates willing to take admission in the said courses can apply and complete the fee payment process from tomorrow, i.e. 09th October 2025, till 14th October 2025. Below is the complete schedule-

ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIRED INFORMATION
1 Before applying online, please go through the Chhattisgarh Nursing Course Admission Rules 2019 and the amendment dated 02 February 2022 thoroughly and then participate in the process, especially the reservation/counselling process/bond, etc.
2 Select the institute along with the online application, as no extra time will be given for institute selection.
3 If you have already completed the online application and clicked Lock & Submit, and wish to make changes to the online application, you may make changes by paying an edit fee of ₹1,000 until the last date of the online application. Even if you take advantage of the Edit option in your application, your email address and mobile number will remain unchanged.
4 For scrutiny and admission process, please refer to the document list of Rule 9 (twenty) of Chhattisgarh Nursing Courses Admission Rules, 2019 and keep all the required documents available by the last date of online application (See: Chhattisgarh Nursing Courses Admission Rules, 2019, Rule 9 (twenty).
5 Any errors in the online application (such as an incomplete application, non-payment of registration fees through the bank gateway, etc.) will disqualify you. Therefore, it is safe to complete the online application process 24 hours before the deadline.
6 Only Credit Cards/Internet Banking/Debit Cards/UPI will be accepted for fee payment and any additional fees will be refunded to the depositor's account only. It cannot be transferred to any other account.
7 Candidates allotted in the first counselling are required to undergo scrutiny and be found eligible and must take admission in a Government Nursing College, failing which they will be disqualified (See Rule 9 (ix) of Chhattisgarh Nursing Course Admission Rules, 2019).
8 After applying online, please check the Counselling Schedule for further action.
FIRST PHASE COUNSELLING
1 First of all, registration will be done for counselling with the basic required information, which will include a non-refundable application fee.
2 Candidates will be given the option to select the desired seats and colleges in which they will be able to select the option as per their preference.
3 After selecting options, candidates must lock their preference number, based on which the allocation process will be processed. Failure to do so will automatically lock the number on the last date of registration.
4 Candidates will be able to change the previously selected options within the stipulated time by unlocking them for an unlimited time with an edit fee.
5 First stage allotment result will be published as per the options given by the candidates and the merit list.
6 In case of allotment in the Government Nursing College-
a It is compulsory to take admission in the Government Nursing College. In case of not taking admission, the candidate will be out of the entire counselling process.
b The candidate allotted to the concerned institution will have to physically appear for the verification of documents. If found eligible in the verification, it will be mandatory to take admission. Candidates who wish to participate in the second phase will have to select the upgrade option in the portal. The institution and subject allotted in the first phase will not be allotted in the second phase.
SECOND PHASE COUNSELLING
1 After the first counselling, the allotment result will be released for the vacant seats as per the options given earlier by the candidates and the merit list.
2 Upgradation option is not available in the second phase; the rest of the process will be the same as the first phase counselling.
COUNSELLING FOR MOP-UP ROUND
1 The choices given earlier by the candidates will be voided and the candidates will have to select a new option in the mop-up round. The candidates who do not select the option will not be allotted any type of institution in the mop-up round and instead, they will be given another opportunity in the stray round.
2 After the second counselling, the allotment result will be released as per the options given by the candidates and the merit list for the vacant seats.
3 Upgradation option is not available in the mop-up stage; the rest of the process will be the same as the first stage counselling.
4 All candidates allotted in the mop-up round will be disqualified from further rounds of counselling.
STRAY ROUND COUNSELLING
1 If there are vacant seats after the mop-up round, stray round counselling will be conducted as per the rules.
