NEET 2025: DME Chhattisgarh to close seat surrender facility soon, details

Chhattisgarh- Through a recent notice, the Director of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has informed regarding the seat surrender facility for students who are willing to resign from their seats allotted through AIQ or the previous round of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) (MBBS and BDS) counselling in Chhattisgarh state.
As per the notice, the seat Resign Portal/Seat Withdrawal Portal will be available till today i.e. September 22, 2025 for those candidates admitted through the first phase of Chhattisgarh State NEET UG counseling for admission year 2025, who have been allotted a seat in the second phase counseling from the All India Quota, or for those candidates who wish to cancel/relinquish their admission obtained through the State counseling. Admitted candidates must ensure to complete the cancellation/relinquishment process by today by appearing at their admitted institute.

STEP TO REGISTER FOR THE CHHATISGARH NEET UG COUNSELLING 2025
STEP 1- Register online at the official DME Raipur counselling website.
STEP 2- Fill in personal, academic, and NEET 2025 details.
STEP 3- Pay the counselling fee online of Rs 1,000 for General/OBC, Rs 500 for SC/ST, and Rs 10,000 for NRI candidates.
STEP 4- Upload scanned copies of the required documents as per the notification.
STEP 5- Indicate your order of preferred MBBS/BDS colleges and lock your choice. Choices cannot be edited after locking.
