Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has released the seat matrix and tentative counselling schedule for government colleges for the Post Basic BSc Nursing 2022-2023 session.

Details related to counselling –

1. Candidates participating in the online counselling for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.250 online as a processing fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

2. Candidates should be careful during choice filling.

3. The online counselling shall make admission to the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course based on rank by applying the rule of reservation.

4. A candidate who has not registered and has not locked the choice for the 1st round of online counselling will not be permitted to the subsequent rounds of online counselling.

5. Candidates absent at the scheduled time and date of online counselling will not be considered for admission. However, the Selection Committee reserves the right to permit the candidate to attend the online counselling if a valid reason for absence is communicated to the Selection Committee. The candidate so permitted can only claim the Course and College available at the time of online counselling when they actually attend.

6. Once the candidates lock their choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later. Request for a change of Branch / College from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised.

7. The candidate who has taken a seat and not joined the course is not eligible for the subsequent rounds of online counselling.

8. The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned College. They are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

9. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time

10. The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned Colleges.

11. If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

Seat matrix –

1170 seats are allotted for Post Basic BSc Nursing 2022-2023 session. The highest number of seats are allotted for PB BSc Nursing - Nursing Female (SF) with 987 seats, followed by PB BSc Nursing - Nursing Male (SF) with 87 seats and PB BSc Nursing - Nursing Female Service with 63 seats.
