DME Tripura Opens Application Window For MSc Nursing Open Entrance Exam, Check out details

Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has opened the application window for the open entrance examination for MSc Nursing Course for the academic session 2022-2023 in the College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal.

The candidates can start filling out the application form. The last date for filling out the application form has been announced as 3rd August 2022. The admit card will be issued online from 18th August 2022 onwards.

The entrance exam is scheduled for 29th August 2022 (10.30 am to 12:00 pm) at the College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal. The counselling date for selected candidates has been announced as 12th September 2022. The candidates who will be allotted seats will have to get admitted to the College on or before 15th September 2022. The session for the above course will commence in September 2022.

The Prospectus and the Application form can be downloaded from the RIMS website, www.rims.edu.in. The duly completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 2000 for all categories, drawn in favour of Director, RIMS, Imphal from a Nationalized Bank payable at Imphal as the cost of admission process fee and other charges, should reach the office of Principal College of Nursing, RIMS on time.

The total number of seats allotted is 10 for MSc Nursing Course. Out of these, 1 seat each is distributed to seven beneficiary states, i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura and 1 seat will be reserved for Nursing Staff working in RIMS and Staff working in the College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal and the remaining 2 seats will be opened to all the seven beneficiary states based on the entrance examination result.

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal is situated at Lamphelpat, Imphal, Manipur. The Medical College was established as a joint venture of the North Eastern States. On 14th September 1972. It is an institution of regional importance, catering to the North Eastern Region's needs in the medical education field by providing undergraduate and post-graduate courses.
