GGSIPU MSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing counselling on July 3- check documents, fee, seat matrix
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, has released the schedule for the first round of offline counselling for admission to MSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing programmes for the 2026-27 academic session.
Candidates whose names appear in the merit list, prepared on the basis of interviews held on June 19 and June 22, 2026, must report in person for document verification and seat allotment on July 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the GGSIPU campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.
Counselling will be conducted for all eligible candidates irrespective of their region or category, and seat allotment will continue until all seats in the respective category are filled.
The key components from the notice are as follows:
1. All the candidates, whose names appeared in the merit list of IV MSc Nursing Code 198 and Post Basic BSc (Nursing) Code 188 programmes, drawn on the basis of Interview held on 22.06.2026 and 19.06.2026, shall report in person for 1st counseling for 'Allotment of Seats', at the venue of counseling on the date and time mentioned below as per their Category and Rank. Details are as below:

Allotment of Seats will stop as and when the seats get filled up in their particular category and region.
The conversion of seats reserved for SC, ST to General Category shall be done only after the completion of 2nd counselling for the reserved categories and no such conversion will be allowed during the 1st counselling.
2. Seat Allocation in Delhi and Outside Delhi Region
For clarification on Region i.e. Delhi or Outside Delhi, candidates may please refer to the Chapter 5: 'Seat Allocation', Part-A, Admission Brochure 2026-27.
3. Reservation Policy Candidates shall please refer to the Chapter 6: 'Reservation Policy', Part-A, Admission Brochure 2026-27.
4. Offline Counselling Procedure
Candidates shall please refer to the Chapter 8: 'Offline Counselling Procedure' Part-A, Admission Brochure for UG 2026-27.
5. Fee
Bank Draft(s) of Rs.60000/- (Sixty Thousand Only) towards Part Academic Fee is required at the time of Counselling in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The candidate will write his name, date of admission, phone, address, mobile no, name of the programme, CET Rank and CET Roll Number on the back of the Bank Draft(s). Balance fee (if applicable) shall be paid by the candidate at the allotted institute.
6. Documents Required for Verification and Allotment of Seats alonq with a set of photocopies):
a) Four passport sized photographs
b) Online Filled Registration Form 2026
c) Filled Admission verification form as per Appendix 5 of Part F of Admission Brochure 2026-27
d) Filled Preference sheet as per Appendix 10 of Part F of Admission Brochure 2026-27.
e) Proof of date of birth (10th Class Mark-sheet & Certificate) (Original and Photocopy)
fy Mark-sheets / Certificates of qualifying examination:
The candidate will be required to bring the Original certificates/Mark-sheets of all the year wise or semester wise in original along with photocopy of Certificates/ Mark-sheets of qualifying examination.
g) For Distance / Open Learning Cases:
In case of students who have passed the qualifying examination through distance / open education system of any recognized University / Board / Institution, the necessary documentary evidence related to location of his / her study center i.e. study center proof, certificate from the University imparting open I distance education certifying the location of the study center to be submitted.
h) Physical Fitness Certificate:
All the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per format given in Performa of Medical Certificate in given in Part-F in Admission Brochure 2026-27 (As per Appendix 4).
i) On the date of Online Registration for Centralized Counselling, candidates having COMPARTMENT/SUPPLEMENARTY in their Qualifying degree are NOT ELIGIBLE. As and when qualify the qualifying exam, thereafter, candidate shall become eligible to participate in counseling process.
j) Refer Chapter 6 for Reservation Policy (SC/ST/OBCIPWD/EWS/Defence etc).
The candidates seeking admission under reserved categories/sub categories must have to mandatorily bring the entitled supporting certificate in his/her name. The candidates for further details must read Chapter 6 Reservation Policy of respective Admission Brochure 2026-27.
The reservation for EWS category is applicable only in University School of Studies and Government institutes. OBC reservation is not applicable for Master Programmes. For more details refer para 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 of Chapter 6 of Admission Brochure 2026-27
k) For claiming reservation on a seat reserved for Defence Category, the candidate must have to bring the duly filled and signed Appendix 1 of Admission Brochure 2026-27 by the Competent Authority as mentioned in Admission Brochure 2026-27.
I) All reservation category candidates who are seeking admission in reserved category in SC / ST / DEF / PWD/KM must bring their reservation certificate (the caste/category certificate should invariably be in the name of candidate himself/herself and not in favour of respective parents/ guardians) in original along with the self-attested photocopy of the certificate for claiming seat against the reserved category.
m) Conduct and Character Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution from where the
qualifying examination has been passed or from Gazetted officer in Original, not more than 06(six) months old.
n) Documents required for CHRISTIAN MINORITY CANDIDATES at the time of counselling
i. Baptism Certificate issued by the Pastor / Priest of the Church
ii. Confirmation Certificate issued by the Pastor / Priest of the Church
iii. Letter from the Pastor / Priest regarding Church membership with dates.
7. Reserved Category candidates who fail either to bring documents as per notified schedule or whose documents are not in order will forfeit his/her right for the reserved category claimed and will automatically be converted to General Category as per University rule.
8. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in the programmes they seek admission; the correctness of the details filled with respect to Region; Category or any other such details for allotment of seat. DATE And Time Of Withdrawal Of Admission
"Last Date of Withdrawal is 14.07.2026 from IVISC Nursing (Code 198) and Post Basic B.Sc (N) Programms (CET Code 188) programme. The candidate must submit filled and signed Appendix 9, i.e., Admission Withdrawal Form for Admissions Brochure 2026-2027 in the Academic Branch, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh lndraprastha University, Sector 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi — 110078. A proper receipt for withdrawal will be issued in lieu thereof. It is once again informed that the request for withdrawal has to be made in the Academic Branch, GGSIPU only and in the prescribed format necessarily," the notice read.
