New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the results for 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation (AIIMS Subject/Specialty) for M.Sc Nursing Courses ‐ 2020 Session

The 1st Round of seat allocation for AIIMS M.Sc Nursing Courses 2020 Session, has been done on the basis of choices made (from 11.00 am, 05.08.2020 to 5.00 pm, 10.08.2020) by eligible candidates.
All candidates who have been allotted a seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation are required to login through the portal by visiting at the websitewww.aiimsexams.org and actively exercise one of the following options by 5.00 PM on 24th August, 2020. Failure to select any of the option as below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated AIIMS & Subject/Specialty and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in 2nd Round.
Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation
Policy regarding the depositing of documents/certificates/DD
The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) his/her candidature shall stand cancelled, the seat offered in 1st Round shall be vacated for next Round and he/she will not be allowed to participate in 2nd Round of seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original/DD (one lakh) along with one set of self attested photocopy as applicable.
i) Offer Letter
ii) Seat allocation letter
iii) Final Registration Slip
iv) Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
v) 10th passing/ Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth.
vi) Degree/provisional/passing Certificate of B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post‐certificate)/Post‐ Basic/B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) from any recognized University, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.
vii) Mark‐sheet of the qualifying examination.
viii) Certificate of Registration as Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council.
ix) Proof of recognition of college from where the candidate has completed B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post‐certificate)/Post‐Basic/B.Sc. Nursing(4 years)
x) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable*:
a. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate* issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
Note:OBC Certificate* should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only for respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
* The allocated M.Sc Nursing Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories (OBC, SC/ST/EWS) will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list.
* The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate shall be 16.04.2019 to 11.06.2020 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
b. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability** issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
Note: Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.
** The allocated seat of candidates who fail to produce valid certificate of PWBD category will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further round under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to respective merit list.
Policies regarding eligibility for 2nd Round
The candidates who have been allocated seat in the 1st round and have chosen the option 2 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements shall be eligible for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation.
All the candidates who were considered in the 1stround and but have not been allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have secured more than 50thpercentile marks in the entrance examination but not called for 1st ROUND of seat allocation will not be eligible for the 2nd round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any). All candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of seat allocation but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) shall not be considered eligible for the 2ndRounds of seat allocation but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation(if any).
General rules adopted for 1st Round of online seat allocation/counselling
1. Merit shall be the guiding principle for seat allocation.
a. The merit list as published in the Result Notification No. 53/2020 dated 19/06/2020shall be used to determine merit. The eligibility of claim to OBC/EWS seat was subjected to uploading of valid certificates as mentioned in Result Notification No. 53/2020 and subsequent email sent to registered email addresses of candidates.
b. All candidates whether of the unreserved or appropriate reserved category shall be eligible for the unreserved category seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in order of merit
c. Unreserved category candidates are not eligible for reserved category seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty)
d. For an available seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in a particular category/ preference a candidate higher in merit shall be allotted the seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) over candidate lower in merit.
e. The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate shall be 16.04.2019 to 11.06.2020 (both date inclusive). Any certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
2. The seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) available for allocation are: Unreserved (UR), OBC (Other Backward Class), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weak Section (EWS), PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability), AIIMS, New Delhi in service seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty)
Unreserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): All candidates are eligible as per merit list
OBC seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only OBC candidates are eligible as per merit list subjected to online submission of valid caste Certificate within due date as per Result Notification No. 53/2020 and Subsequent representation through Email to registered Email Address or in person.
SC seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only SC candidates are eligible
ST seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only ST candidates are eligible
EWS seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only EWS candidates are eligible as per merit list and online submission of valid caste Certificate within due date as per Result Notification No. 53/2020 and Subsequent Email to registered Email Address or in person.
PWBD seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only PWBD candidates are eligible AIIMS, New Delhi In Service seat
(AIIMS & Subject/Specialty): Only AIIMS New Delhi in‐service candidates are eligible.
a. All reservations other than for PWBD are vertical reservations (reserved only in the respective categories)
b. PWBD Reservations are horizontal reservations (across categories)according to a point‐based roster as mentioned in the prospectus
c. Seats (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) remaining vacant after allocation to eligible PWBD candidate of respective category will be released for seat allocation in their respective categories in the same round
3. Every candidate has been Allocated a Seat (Specialty/Subject) as per his/her best choice provided, as available at that rank for the 1stRound.
4. If at a particular rank for a candidate, the best choice of the candidate is available in both the open merit (unreserved) as well as a reserved category (wherever applicable) then the seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) has been allocated under the unreserved category and not the reserved category.
a. Seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in the reserved category for reserved candidate shall be allocated only if there is no corresponding seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) available in the unreserved category for the best choice of the candidate available at that rank
b. If an PWBD (PWD) candidate gets a better choice in the open merit UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS he/she has been given that choice
5. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (more than 40%), a 5% horizontal reservation shall be followed for the seats (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) and allocation has been done on basis of merit.
a. PWBD candidates are eligible only for the category to which he/she belongs i.e. If a candidate belongs to a reserved category, he /she is eligible for a seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only under that category and not in the unreserved category (horizontal reservation)
i. Eligible PWBD candidate of UR category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only in the UR category
ii. Eligible PWBD candidate of OBC category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only in the OBC category
iii. Eligible PWBD candidate of SC category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only in the SC category
iv. Eligible PWBD candidate of ST category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only in the ST category
v. Eligible PWBD candidate of EWS category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) only in the ST category
6. Vacant seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in 1st round of seat allocation shall be allotted in subsequent rounds by following the above rules.
7. The 2nd round will be initiated after completion of 1st round. Exercising of Choices will be not be opened for 2nd Round of Seat allocation and Choices selected by candidate in earlier in choice filling Round will be considered for 2nd Round.
8. All candidate must read the Information Brochure for 1st round of Online Seat Allocation No.F.7‐11/Exam. Sec/M.Sc (Nsg)/2020 Dated: 04.08.2020, instructions given in offer letter & Email sent on registered Email address.
Participation in the 1st Round is mandatory to be eligible for the 2nd Round of online seat allocation for M.Sc Nursing, 2020 Session
