MSc Nursing 2020 in Karnataka: KEA releases instructions, hall ticket for candidates

Bengaluru: Through a recent notice, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released instructions and hall ticket for candidates vying for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 2020 for Admission to MSc Nursing this academic year.

All the concerned students are hereby informed:

Instructions to Candidates
1. In view of delay in arrivals by bus, train etc. candidates are advised to take extra precautions in reaching the examination centre at least two hours before the first bell.

2. Candidates have to compulsorily wear mask and appear for the examination.
3. Candidates should not carry any Modern Electronic Equipments, Gadgets, Pagers, Mobile Phones, Bluetooth, Markers, White Fluid, Calculator, Wireless sets, bits of paper, books / note etc. into the Examination Hall, as these items are prohibited for use in the examination hall.
4. Along with the Admission Ticket candidate must carry any one Valid Identity Card like Driving License / Passport / Aadhar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Final Year Degree Exam Admission Ticket, compulsorily.
5. The candidates are not allowed to wear/carry any type of wrist watch to the examination hall/room. Candidates are informed to check the Bell Timings hosted on the KEA Website for Caution Bells at different intervals.
6. Candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Hall ONLY on production of this Admission Ticket and Valid Identity Card.
7. They are required to occupy their respective seats in the Examination Hall immediately after the First Bell i.e., after 10.00 a.m.
8. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall after the Third Bell i.e. after 10.30 a.m
9. The candidate should use only Blue or Black ink ball point pens.
10. Candidates have to write their name on the OMR Answer Sheet issued to them after the first bell.
11. Afterwards, candidates have to enter the PGET Number and shade the respective circles on the OMR answer sheet as per bell timings / instructions. Further shade the corresponding circle for PGET subject.
12. Candidates have to enter the Version Code and Serial Number of the Question Booklet on the OMR answer sheet and the respective circles should also be shaded completely.
13. Candidates should carefully enter the "Question Booklet Version Code / Serial Number" on the nominal roll.
14. Candidates should carefully enter the "Answer Sheet Serial Number" on the nominal roll.
15. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till completion of exam scheduled time.
16. Preserve this 'Admission Ticket' carefully and produce whenever it is required.
17. Please verify the subject printed on this Admission Ticket carefully and if any discrepancy, the same may be informed to Karnataka Examinations Authority immediately.
18. Candidates have to declare themselves (at exam centre) in case if they are appearing from containment zone.
The candidates have to appear for PGET-2020 as per the schedule and eligibility to the respective courses to become eligible for further process of determination of merit/admission.
