NEET 2026 application window to close tomorrow, register now!
New Delhi: The National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) registration window for the academic year 2026 is scheduled to close tomorrow, i.e. March 8, 2026.
The process is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is available only in online mode through the official website.
Candidates who wish to appear for the national-level medical entrance exam must submit their forms before the deadline.
The NEET UG 2026 application process began on February 8, 2026. Applicants who have not yet filled out their forms are advised to complete them before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or payment delays.

The entrance exam will be conducted offline in a pen-and-paper format. The exam duration will be three hours, and the test will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST. To make the exam easier for candidates across India, it will be offered in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
STEPS TO REGISTER
STEP 1- Open the official website
STEP 2- Click on the New Registration.
STEP 3- Read the instructions carefully and generate login credentials.
STEP 4- Log in using the application number and password.
STEP 5- Fill in personal information, academic details, and exam city preferences.
STEP 6- Upload the required documents as per the instructions.
STEP 7- Pay the application fee online and submit the NEET UG 2026 application form.
Meanwhile, as per the information bulletin released by the NTA in this regard on its official website, the general category candidates will have to pay ₹1,700, while candidates from the General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backwards Classes (OBC)-Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) categories have to pay ₹1,600 and candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and third gender categories have to pay Rs 1,000 as the registration fee. However, candidates of all categories from outside India need to pay Rs 9500/-.
