NTA opens scribe registration portal for PwD NEET 2026 candidates, details
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a dedicated portal for PwD/PwBD candidates appearing in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) exam for the academic year 2026 to submit details of their own scribe, in line with court directions and examination guidelines.The announcement was made through a public notice.
As per the direction of Hon'ble Court, and as mentioned in the online application form regarding share Scribe details after exam city intimation, the NTA is opening the portal for the PwD/PwBD candidates to opt for their own scribe details as per the schedule, notice read.
Therefore, the portal for opting their own scribe details from concerned PwD/PwBD candidates of NEET (UG) 2O26 is up to 21 April 2026, 11:50 P.M.
Candidates (who are opting for their own scribe) for filling in the details of the scribe, may follow the following steps-
1 Click on the link mentioned in the notice and log in using the application number and password.
2 Click on the 'Register Scribe Details' button on the candidate home page. The button will be visible only to those candidates who have opted for their own scribe and plan to provide details during Exam City Intimation.
3 Choose the scribe option and give the scribe details as applicable.
4 Details once submitted will be reflected in the 'View Application Form' link on the left-hand side of the candidate home page and on the confirmation page.

The NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode. NTA recently issued the advance intimation of examination city for candidates appearing in the NEET UG exam for the academic year 2026.
