AIIMS Bibinagar Changes names of 2 BSc Paramedical Courses, Check out details

BSc Medical Technology in Radiography course will be known as BSc Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology and B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology will be known as Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science.

Telangana : Through a recent notice, the AII India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, AIIMS has informed that from now on, the BSc in Medical Technology in Radiography course will be known as BSc in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology and B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology will be known as Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science for AIIMS Bibinagar 2022 session.

The duration of the B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology course has also been increased.

" The B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology course will be known as Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science for AIIMS Bibinagar 2022 session and the duration of the course has been increased from 03+ 1/2 years to 04 years(including 6 months internship). Henceforth, the name of the course will be known as Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science, and duration of course is 04 years (including 6 months internship) at AIIMS Bibinagar," the notice read.

The fees for 'Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS)' at AIIMS Bibinagar will be as follows:

i. Registration fees: Rs. 500/-

ii. Tution fees: Rs. 300/-

iii. Pot money: Rs . 720/-

iv. Caution money: Rs. 100/- (to be deposited by every student for the recovery of breakages or loss of lnstitute's equipment)

v. Hostel security: Rs. 1000/- (Refundable) (Hostel facility may not be available for B.Sc. Paramedical Students at AIIMS Bibinagar).
