AIIMS publishes results of Round 1 Online Seat Allocation of BSc Paramedical Courses 2021
New Delhi : The AIIMS has released the results of 1st round of seat allocation for BSc Paramedical admissions this academic year.
The 1st Round of seat allocation for Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant (DORA), B.Sc. in Dental Hygine (DH) & B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) at AIIMS, New Delhi, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Operation Theatre & Anaesthesiology (OTAT) Medical Technology in Radiography & Medical Technology in Radiotherapy at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. in Urology Technology, B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology, B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology, B.Sc. Sleep Technology, B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy, B.Sc. in Neuro-monitoring Technology, B.Sc. in Orthopaedics Technology, B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Hygine, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology at AIIMS Rishikesh, B.Sc. in Lab Technology & B.Sc. in Emergency Medicine Technician Course at AIIMS Nagpur for the Academic Session‐2021 has been done on the basis of choices made (from 11.00 am, 03.02.2022 to 5.00 pm, 07.02.2022) by eligible candidates. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of Seat Allocation.
Based on the certificates (OBC/EWS) uploaded by the candidates as per the Result Notification No 06/2022 dated 12.01.2022 the preliminary verification of validity of certificates has been done. Accordingly, candidates who had uploaded valid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered in the claimed category and candidates who did not upload valid certificates or uploaded invalid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered as UR subjected to cut off rank of UR merit list.
Candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation are NOT ELIGIBLE for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation but can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).
For the 2nd round, the order of Seat Allocation process will be based on the merit order used for the 1st Round with no further change on choices obtained before 1st Round of Seat Allocation.
PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED B.SC PARA‐MEDICAL COURSE/SUBJECT IN THE 1st ROUND OF SEAT ALLOCATION
All candidates who have been allotted a seat (AIIMS &Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation are required to login through the portal by visiting at the website www.aiimsexams.ac.in and actively exercise one of the following options by 5.00 PM on 14th February, 2022. Failure to select any of the option as below will lead to Cancellation of the allocated AIIMS/Specialty and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in 2nd Round.
Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation
[If you choose option‐2 and participate in next round and you are allocated another seat as per your choice in next round, then you will have to join the seat allocated during next round and the previously allocated seat shall be deemed vacated and automatically be allocated to other candidates next in merit as per choice. Failure to join the upgraded seat in next round of seat allocation shall lead to impositions of penalty of Rs.1.00 Lakh if you do not join upgraded seat.]
Instruction for each option is as follows:
Option 1: If the Option of ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation is selected then,
• The candidate will have to report at respective AIIMS(as per point 7, 8 of information brochure for 1st Round of Seat Allocation dated 25.01.2022) by 5.00 PM on 14th February, 2022 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the My Page after login at www.aiimsexams.ac.in), Seat Allocation Letter/Slip from online Portal and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakhs only (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when original certificates are deposited.
• It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is OPTING NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN FURTHER ROUNDS OF SEAT ALLOCATION.
• If original certificates are not deposited at the time of joining, these will have to be submitted by the time specified by the 14th February, 2022 at respective AIIMS, otherwise admission will be cancelled, the deposited money will be forfeited, and the candidate will not be eligible for any further participation in Seat Allocation.
In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in person by 5.00 PM on 14th February, 2022, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation. No further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. However, these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
Option 2: If the option of "ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation" is selected then
• The candidate will have report to the, respective AIIMS (as per point 7, 8 of information brochure for 1st Round of Seat Allocation dated 25.01.2022) on or before 5.00 PM, 14th February, 2022 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the My Page after login at www.aiimsexams.ac.in) and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of seat allocation.
• In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in‐person (as per Information Brochure) by 5.00 PM on 14th February, 2022, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation.
• The candidate shall be eligible for the 2nd round of Seat Allocation subject to above.
• If in the 2nd Round of seat allocation, a candidate who has chosen option 2 is allocated another seat as per choice made, then the candidate will have to accept the seat allocated in 2nd Round and the seat allocated in the 1st will be released automatically. Such candidates cannot retain seat allotted in 1st Round and failure to join the seat allocated in 2nd Round shall lead to imposition of penalty of Rs. 1 lakh
POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/DD
The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) his/her candidature shall stand cancelled, the seat offered in 1st Round shall be vacated for next Round and he/she will not be allowed to participate in 2nd Round of seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original/DD (one lakh) along with one set of self attested photocopy as applicable.
i) Offer Letter
ii) Seat allocation letter
iii) Final Registration Slip
iv) Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
v) 10th passing/ Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth.
vi) Self attested copy of certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
vii) Self attested copy of certificate from the Board showing his/her date of birth.
viii) Self attested copy of mark‐sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination in proof of having secured 50% or more marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology OR Mathematics.
ix) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable*:
a. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate* issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
Note: OBC Certificate* should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only for respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
* The allocated Para‐Medical Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list.
*The validity of OBC (NCL) certificate shall be 15.06.2020 to 28.12.2021 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
*The validity of EWS certificate shall be 01.04.2021 to 28.12.2021 (both date inclusive).Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
b. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability** issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
Note: Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.
** The allocated seat of candidates who fail to produce valid certificate of PWBD category will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further round under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to respective merit list.
POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR 2nd ROUND
The candidates who have been allocated seat in the 1st Round and have chosen the option 2 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements shall be eligible for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation.
All the candidates who were considered in the 1st Round but have not been allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have not been called for 1st ROUND of seat allocation will not be eligible for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).
All candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of seat allocation but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) shall not be considered eligible for the 2nd Rounds of seat allocation but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation(if any).
GENERAL RULES ADOPTED FOR 1stROUND OF SEAT ALLOCATION
1. Merit shall be the guiding principle for seat allocation.
a. The merit list as published in the Result Notification No. 06/2022 dated 12/01/2022 shall be used to determine merit. The eligibility of claim to OBC/EWS seat was subjected to uploading of valid certificates as mentioned in Result Notification No. 06/2022 and subsequent email sent to registered email addresses of candidates.
b. All candidates whether of the unreserved or appropriate reserved category shall be eligible for the unreserved category seat (AIIMS/Specialty) in order of merit
c. Unreserved category candidates are not eligible for reserved category seat (AIIMS/Specialty)
d. For an available seat (AIIMS/Specialty) in a particular category/ preference a candidate higher in merit shall be allotted the seat (AIIMS/Specialty) over candidate lower in merit.
e. The validity of OBC (NCL) certificate shall be 15.06.2020 to 28.12.2021 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
f. The validity of EWS certificate shall be 01.04.2021 to 28.12.2021 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
2. The seat (AIIMS/Specialty) available for allocation are: Unreserved (UR), OBC (Other Backward Class), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weak Section (EWS), PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability), (AIIMS/Specialty)
Unreserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty): All candidates are eligible as per merit list OBC seat (AIIMS/Specialty):Only OBC candidates are eligible as per merit list subjected to online submission of valid caste Certificate within due date as per Result Notification No. 06/2022 and Subsequent representation through Email to registered Email Address or in person.
SC seat (AIIMS/Specialty): Only SC candidates are eligible
ST seat (AIIMS/Specialty): Only ST candidates are eligible
EWS seat (AIIMS/Specialty): Only EWS candidates are eligible as per merit list and online submission of valid caste Certificate within due date as per Result Notification No. 06/2022 and Subsequent Email to registered Email Address or in person.
PWBD seat (AIIMS/Specialty): Only PWBD candidates are eligible
a. All reservations other than for PWBD are vertical reservations (reserved only in the respective categories)
b. PWBD Reservations are horizontal reservations (across categories)according to a point‐based roster as mentioned in the prospectus
c. Seats (AIIMS/Specialty) remaining vacant after allocation to eligible PWBD candidate of respective category will be released for seat allocation in their respective categories in the same round
3. Every candidate has been allocated a Seat (AIIMS/Specialty) as per his/her best choice provided, as available at that rank for the 1st Round.
4. If at a particular rank for a candidate, the best choice of the candidate is available in both the open merit (unreserved) as well as a reserved category (wherever applicable) then the seat (AIIMS/Specialty) has been allocated under the unreserved category and not the reserved category.
a. Seat (AIIMS/Specialty) in the reserved category for reserved candidate shall be allocated only if there is no corresponding seat (AIIMS/Specialty) available in the unreserved category for the best choice of the candidate available at that rank
b. If an PWBD (PWD) candidate gets a better choice in the open merit UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS he/she has been given that choice
5. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (more than 40%), a 5% horizontal reservation shall be followed for the seats (AIIMS/Specialty) and allocation has been done on basis of merit.
a. PWBD candidates are eligible only for the category to which he/she belongs i.e. If a candidate belongs to a reserved category, he /she is eligible for a seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only under that category and not in the unreserved category (horizontal reservation)
i. Eligible PWBD candidate of UR category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only in the UR category
ii. Eligible PWBD candidate of OBC category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only in the OBC category
iii. Eligible PWBD candidate of SC category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only in the SC category
iv. Eligible PWBD candidate of ST category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only in the ST category
v. Eligible PWBD candidate of EWS category can avail a reserved seat (AIIMS/Specialty) only in the ST category
6. Vacant seat (AIIMS/Specialty) in 1st round of seat allocation shall be allotted in subsequent rounds by following the above rules.
7. The 2nd round will be initiated after completion of 1st round. Exercising of Choices will be not be opened for 2nd Round of Seat allocation and Choices selected by candidate in earlier in choice filling Round will be considered for 2nd Round.
8. All candidates must read the Information Brochure for 1st round of Seat Allocation No.F.7‐8/Exam.Sec/B.Sc (PM)/2021 Dated: 25.01.2022, instructions given in offer letter & Email sent on registered Email address.
