AIIMS Releases Revised Schedule for Open Round Seat Allotment for BSc Paramedical Courses 2024

New Delhi- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the revised schedule of open round seat allotment for B.Sc Paramedical courses for the session 2024. The open round seat allotment for B.Sc Paramedical courses will be done in online mode.

As per the revised schedule, registration and exercise of options for AIIMS Open Round Seat Allotment for B.Sc Paramedical Courses for the session 2024 has started from 18th September 2024 and will end on 22nd September 2024 at 05.00 PM. The result will be announced on Wednesday i.e., 25th September 2024. Thereafter the online acceptance of allotment and submission of original documents and joining will start from 25th to 27th September 2024 at 05:00 PM. Lastly, the medical examination and other admission formalities only for AIIMS, New Delhi allotted Candidates will be done on 28th September 2024.

Meanwhile, as per the notice in this regard, the vacant seat position will be uploaded on the AIIMS official website in due course of time. However, the number of seats may change at the time of online seat allocation. The allocation of seats will be made strictly as per rank/merit of candidates in the entrance examination and the rest of the terms and conditions/ eligibility.

PROCESS OF COUNSELLING

STEP 1

1 Candidates who appeared in the Entrance Examination of B.Sc. Paramedical courses for session 2024, obtained the minimum qualifying marks and their roll no. is available in the results are eligible to apply online and fill in choices/preferences of institutes for online seat allocation for the open round.

2 Candidates who have been allocated seats at any AIIMS at the time of 1st and 2nd round of allocation and currently holding the allocated seats are not eligible for an open round of allocation.

3 Candidates are required to log in to their candidate dashboard and click open round of seat allocation.

4 The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on “MyPage” accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling the Final Registration form and other processes related to AIIMS B.Sc. Paramedical Entrance Examination for session-2024 on AIIMS official website.

5 On clicking the link, the eligible candidates will be directed to the online B.Sc. Paramedical Seat allocation portal where the candidates will have to register for online Seat allocation and set new passwords. This password is only to access the online B.Sc. Paramedical seat Allocation portal.

6 Once registered, the candidate will be able to login to the online B.Sc. Paramedical courses Seat allocation portal and begin the process of making choices (AIIMS) and order the choices. The online B.Sc. Paramedical Courses Seat Allocation portal will remain open for the date and time.

7 On logging in, the candidate needs to confirm their name and ID. Click on the Make Choice button to proceed to exercise choices (AIIMS) & subject and their order and submit.

8 The candidates are required to deposit the amount of Rs. 5000/- for B.Sc Paramedical courses through electronic mode as a security deposit on a link available at candidate MyPage. It is also advised to the candidates to make payment from their own account or Parents/relatives' account because a refund will be made in the same account.

9 Security deposits of Rs. 5000/- are refundable in case of not allocation of any seat. It will only forfeited if you have been allocated a seat at any AIIMS and did not join on the given date.

10 The candidate can view the choices submitted and locked by them by clicking on the View choices button after logging in to the online B.Sc. Paramedical courses Seat allocation portal. Click the Print button to take a printout.

STEP 2

1 The candidates are required to deposit the amount of Rs. 5000/- for B.Sc Paramedical courses through electronic fund transfer mode on the link available on the AIIMS official website.

2 Documents of the candidates will be verified by the AIIMS at the time of reporting. The OBC/EWS Certificate is issued by the competent authority for the central Govt. Jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must be in the Central Government. The Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability is issued by a duly constituted and authorised Medical Board.

STEP 3

1 Only candidates who have registered and deposited Rs. 5000/- Security deposit will be eligible for seat allocation in the Open round.

2 On the basis of choices exercised by the candidate, the result of the Open round of seat allocation will be declared.

STEP 4

1 The candidates will be mandatorily required to accept the allocated seat in the open round of online seat allocation and report to deposit Original Documents and join the allotted AIIMS on dates.

2 Candidates who fail to report/join the allotted AIIMS will be liable to pay a penalty of Rs. 5000/- and the security deposit of these candidates will not be refunded.

Along with this, the candidate who was allotted a seat will be required to produce the following Original Certificates-

1 Admit Card issued by AIIMS.

2 Open round Registration Slip.

3 Offer Letter.

4 Seat allocation letter.

5 Certificate from the Board showing the date of birth. (10th Passing Certificate).

6 Certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

7 Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination Certificate in proof of having secured 50% or more marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology).

8 Migration Certificate.

9 The candidate should also bring the SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate, if applicable.

10 Certificates for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board.

11 Self-attested one set photocopy of the SC/ST/OBC/EWS, PwD certificates.

IMPORTANT POINTS

1 Those candidates who are found not eligible for OBC/EWS seat based on verification of respective certificates, should be treated as UR if their rank is within the cut-off rank for UR merit list, or will not be considered to be in this list of rank is beyond the cut-off rank for UR Merit list.

2 Seat allocation for the first UR seat allocation will be done and after UR seat allocation is over, EWS seat allocation will be done followed by OBC/SC/ST seat allocation.

3 If any EWS seat remains vacant after seat allocation for EWS seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to the UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit.

4 If any OBC seat remains vacant after seat allocation for OBC seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to the UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit.

5 In case of SC/ST seat allocation, if any SC seats(s) remain vacant, these will be transferred to ST and vice versa. All SC/ST seats which remain vacant after such transfers will also be transferred to the UR Category and will be offered to UR candidates strictly on merit.
