BFUHS Begins Online Registration Process For BSc Paramedical Courses, Apply Till 15th June

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has begun the online application for admission to BSc Paramedical courses for session 2023.

Detailed schedule –

Last date for submission of the online admission application form through the University website

15th June 2023

Last date of correction in online submitted Application Form. After that, the application will be automatically locked, and no change can be made.

For NRI candidates

Last Date for submitting the admission application form for NRI Quota (Application form for getting the eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on the University website)

Last date for deposition of application fee through online payment gateway

For sports category candidates

The candidates applying under the Sports category have to submit printed / hard copies of the online submitted application form personally (by hand) to the University along with self-attested photocopies of 10+1 & 10+2 DMC's, Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director, Sports, Punjab and other supporting certificates/documents.

Application fee – Rs. 3000 + 18 % GST (Rs. 3540). SC candidates will deposit a fee of Rs. 1500+18% GST (Rs. 1770).

Details issued –

1. Candidates except NRI can apply for BSc Para Medical Courses- 2023 through "Online" mode only.

2. Prospectus can be downloaded from the University website 

3. Online submission of the application forms can only be made by accessing the University website

4. Candidates must ensure that mobile numbers, E-mail addresses filled in the online application form are their own, as University will communicate by SMS or mail on the given mobile number and mailing ID only.

5. The candidates shall be held responsible for non-receipt of the latest information due to the online application form's wrong mobile number or mailing address.

6. Fee can only be remitted through University's online payment gateway. Candidates who fail to deposit the requisite fee within the stipulated date and time will be canceled. The fee, once deposited in the University account, shall not be refunded/adjusted in any case.

7. An error in filling online application form may result in the rejection of such an application form. Corrections in the information given by the candidate in the online application form may not be permitted.

8. Fill category carefully in the online admission application Form. The category, once claimed, will not be changed in any case after submitting the form.

9. The candidates who have applied under the sports category will have to submit printed / hard copies of the online submitted application form personally (by hand) to the University within the stipulated period along with self-attested photocopies of 10+1 & 10+2 DMCs, Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director, Sports, Punjab, and other supporting certificates/documents.

10. Candidate must mandatorily upload the Detailed Marks Card (DMC) of the 10+2 examination on the University website,

11. The list of colleges and availability of seats in this prospectus may vary, and the final status shall be displayed during counseling.

12. Reservations of seats in the affiliated institutions in Punjab shall be as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.

13. Provisional merit will be displayed on 20th June 2023. Suppose the candidates find any discrepancy in their merit. In that case, they will have to mail the relevant documents to email id, i.e., admissionbfuhs@gmail.com, for rectification by 21st June 2023 (up to 02:00 pm), failing which they are not liable to claim their right to the earlier seat if canceled due to discrepancy found at the time of checking eligibility/document verification by the Principal of allotted college.

14. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed 10+1 and 10+2 from recognized schools/institutions situated in the State of Punjab, and the candidate must have a bonafide resident of Punjab if seats remain vacant, will be offered to the candidates who have passed their 10+1 and 10+2 examination from a school situated outside Punjab state.

15. Candidates who have passed 10+1 and 10+2 from State other than Punjab shall be considered during 2nd round of counseling.

Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence –

1. At least three printouts of the online submitted application form

2. Proof of fee paid

3. 3 copies of the latest identical colored photograph with the date (should be passport size with white background) that scanned and uploaded on the online application form

Candidates note that photographs should not have caps or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. Polaroid and computer-generated photos are not acceptable. Applications not complying with these instructions or unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.

Eligibility –

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and must have obtained 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Or

Candidate has passed the 10+2 examination in any stream other than science and holds a 2-year full-time regular diploma in a paramedical subject from a recognized medical college only.

Lateral Entry - The candidate is eligible for lateral entry directly into the second year of the B.Sc. course if they have passed 10+2 (Science) and hold 2 year full-time regular diploma in paramedical subject from a recognized medical college only.

As per letter no F.No 2-6/ASLP/2003/RCI dated 07.05.2023 of the Rehabilitation Council of India, Eligibility for Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology is as under -

"The applicant/candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Sciences/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology at 10+2 level" Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Relaxation in the qualifying marks shall be per the rules and regulations of the respective University/State/UTs or Central Government.

Duration of course - The course duration shall be three (3) years. Duration of Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology shall be Four (4) years.

Online counseling details -

1. Online counseling will be held per the date/schedule available on the University website.

2. The candidates should read the eligibility conditions carefully; just participating in counseling does not entitle their right to admission. The Admission Committee shall determine the eligibility during physical counseling or by the Principal of the allotted college. Those who are not eligible will not be considered for admission, and their seat will be treated as canceled.

3. During counseling, candidates will have to participate in person, where they will give their preferences of course, college, quota & category.

4. The allotment of seats and college shall be made as per the choice of the candidate at the time of the physical counseling by the Admission Committee based on the merit determined as per marks obtained by the candidate in the 10+2 examination and other terms and conditions contained in the Prospectus.

5. The candidates must produce all the certificates/degrees/diplomas/ documents in original at the counseling venue/joining/admission in respective colleges.

6. Allocation of the seat is provisional, subject to verification of original documents/checking of eligibility by the Principal of the concerned Colleges. After the provisional allocation of seats, the candidate shall have to report to the allocated college to verify documents and check eligibility. It is the sole responsibility of the Principal to authenticate the eligibility of provisionally allocated candidates before their joining/admission.

7. After the provisional allocation of seats, candidates will have to report to the respective college along with fee receipt and all original documents for the checking of documents and their eligibility.

8. If candidates are satisfied with the seat allocated to them, they are not required to participate in the subsequent round of counseling(s). In case candidates wish/intends to upgrade/change their seat, they will have to participate in the subsequent round of counseling and give their preferences afresh for the course/college/quota/ category.

9. If any candidates want to quit the course/seat, they must apply to the respective college regarding their surrender of the seat well before the start of the next round of counseling.

10. If candidates' seat is upgraded/changed in the subsequent counseling round and they have already deposited the tuition fee, they are not required to deposit the fee again, provided they have to deposit any difference in fee, if any.

11. The seats in 2nd round will be allocated as per the availability of seats as per merit cum choice/preference submitted by the candidates.

12. Deposition of annual fee after provisional allocation during 1st round of online counseling - Candidate will deposit tuition fee through the online payment gateway. The candidate will report for a medical checkup and joining along with submission of proof of fee deposition to the respective college within the stipulated time/period, failing which the allocated seat will stand canceled automatically without any intimation to the candidate.

13. In the case of physical counseling, candidates will have to deposit tuition fees on the spot at the counseling venue in the shape of Demand Draft fvg. Registrar, BFUHS, Faridkot, failing which their provisional selection will be treated as canceled without any intimation to the candidate.

Admission procedure -

Admission shall be made per the merit of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) marks taken together in the 10+2 examination.

In case of two or more candidates having equal marks in PCB in the 10+2 examination, their inter-se merit will be determined as under -

1. Candidate having higher marks in Biology

2. Candidate older in age
