Kanpur's GSVM Medical College Paramedical Student Found Dead
Kanpur- In an unfortunate incident, a paramedical student of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room of the college. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon near Swaroop Nagar police station area of Kanpur.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Arvind, a resident of Bamhraula village in Marka police station area of Banda district. He was a first year student of BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) technician at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College. He took admission in the medical college in December 2024.
The deceased father was repeatedly calling his son, but when the call was not answered, he ran towards the hostel. Reaching the hostel room, he tried to open the door, but the door was locked from inside. After breaking the door of the room, he found his son dead. The police were immediately informed and the investigation was started by sending the body for post-mortem.
