BOPEE invites Online Applications For Para Medical Diploma, details
Jammu and Kashmir: The online application process has begun for admission to (10th based) Para Medical Diploma (FMPHW/MMPHW) Courses 2023. The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has issued a detailed notification.
Per the notice, the last date for filling out the online application forms is 26-05-2023. A fee of Rs. 500 will be paid online through National Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. Online applications are invited from the Domiciles of the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh, who are eligible and desirous to appear in the Common Entrance Test.
E-information Brochure can be downloaded from the BOPEE website viz: www.jkbopee.gov.in. The syllabus for the examination/test is available in the e- information brochure. The date of the entrance test is to be notified separately.
The candidates can change/ modify their online application Form at any time before it is finally “submitted” online. However, if required for any subsequent modifications, the candidate(s) should personally approach the BOPEE office in Srinagar/ Jammu. They can check the status of their Application Form on the official website(s) of the BOPEE. Suppose any form is not confirmed for want of required information. In that case, the candidate concerned must report in the BOPEE office in Srinagar or Jammu by or before 29th of May, 2023 or 3 days after the expiry of the last date fixed by Page 3 of 5 Board, failing which their Application Form shall be rejected without any further notice.
After filling in all the required entries, the candidates must ensure that their online payment has been successfully made and all the requisite documents have been uploaded in a specified format/size. They should enter a valid E-mail address/Mobile No on the application form, which the Board shall use in sending messages/emails to the candidates whenever required. Further, they should ensure that Rs.500/ must be reflected against the fee paid column mentioned in the online application Form after taking a printout.
The submission of the online application form is purely provisional and is liable to be canceled at any stage subject to the final verification of the documents and even at any stage where such a document is proved to be fake/false or fabricated.
Suppose the number of applicants is less than the number of seats. In that case, the Board may decide the selection of candidates for these courses based on the merit of the candidates based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e., marks secured in the 10th Class Examination, along with their preferences.
Mere submission of the Application Form and appearance of the aspiring candidate in the Common Entrance Test shall not confer any preferential right/claim for admission upon the intending applicants, which shall be subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, qualification and merit of the candidate for the said course.
The following documents have to be uploaded along with the application form –
1. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate)
2. Qualifying marks (10th Class) Certificate; (where result is declared)
3. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation/ Secondary School Certificate issued by the Board
4. Reserved Category Certificate, if any
5. Any other documents, as required
Afore-titled documents as required for submission of online application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s) vide any order as may be notified by the Competent Authority or Board.
Eligibility for admission –
A candidate must –
1. be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be(For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate)
2. have passed 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science & Math subjects
3. have not crossed upper age of 35 years upto 31-12-2023
4. be medically fit
The candidates appearing/appeared in 10th Class Examination 2023 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify the 10th Class examination on or before the date of counseling as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be automatically cancelled.
Roll No Slip/Admit Card - The Notification for downloading of the Online Electronic Admit Card will be issued separately, in case the Entrance Test is conducted.
Venue for Conduct of Examination- The Entrance Examination, if held, shall be conducted at Jammu/Srinagar simultaneously, as may be decided by the Board.
Issuance of Admit Cards and Date of Test - Information with regard to availability of the online admit cards, venue and time of the common entrance test will be issued separately in due course of time.
The selection of the candidates to such courses shall be regulated by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002 and the Rules and Regulations made there under; JK Reservation Act, 2004 as amended vide J&K Reorganization Act, 2019, S.O. 69 dated 28-02-2020, S.O. 127 dated 20-04-2020, S.O. 249 dated 23-07-2021, S.O. 277 dated 13-08-2021, and subject to further amendments, if any, by the Government of J&K from time to time and the guidelines/information as contained in the Electronic Information Brochure-2023 which are available on the official website of the BOPEE www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Original documents required to be submitted in the institution at the time of admission –
1. Marks certificate of the qualifying examinations (10th Class marks certificate)
2. Date of birth (Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate) from a recognized Board
3. Domicile Certificate for candidates belonging to UT of J&K and ST Certificate as a Domicile for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh
4. Category Certificate, if any
5. Any other document as may be required by the institution
