PG Medical admissions in Tamil Nadu: Round 1 Choice filling process to end on August 14, details
Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) is soon going to end the round 1 choice filling process for PG Degree/Diploma, MDS, and DNB- Post Diploma & Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma Courses.
The registration and choice-filling process begins on 08-08-2023 (10:00 AM) and can be carried out till 14-08-2023 (03:00 PM). The processing of seat allotment will be done on 15-08-2023. The result will be declared on 16-08-2023. The candidates can download the provisional allotment order from 17-08-2023 to 21-08-2023 (05:00 PM). The last date of joining is 21-08-2023 (05:00 PM).
The following candidates can carry out the registration and choice-filling process –
1. DNB - All eligible candidates, as per the merit list, can carry out the process
2. PG Degree/Diploma - GQ GR 001 TO GR 7526 (Rank), 708.25 to 257 (NEET Mark) and MQ GR 001 TO GR 3036 (Rank), 677 to 257 (NEET Mark)
3. MBS - GR 001 to GR 661 (Rank), 743 to 238 (NEET Rank) and GR 001 to GR 336 (Rank), 612 to 238 (NEET Mark)
Registration fee (non-refundable) –
1. DNB – Rs 1000 for Government Quota
2. MDS – Rs 1000 for Government Quota and Rs 1000 for Management Quota
3. MD/MS/Diploma – Rs 1000 for Government Quota and Rs 1000 for Management Quota
Security deposit –
1. DNB – Rs 30000 for Government Quota
2. Government Quota MDS -Rs 30000 for Government Dental Colleges, Rs 100000 for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Dental College
3. Management Quota MDS – RS 200000 for Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges
4. Government Quota MD/MS/Diploma - Rs 30000 for Government Dental Colleges, Rs 100000 for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical College
5. Management Quota MD/MS/Diploma – Rs 200000 for Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges
All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting choice filling. They should be careful while choice filling. Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking. Candidates will have the option of choice filling all the seats for which they have applied to.
Admission to DNB, PG Degree/ Diploma, and MDS courses shall be made by online counseling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation. Request for a change of course or College from one to another is not permitted after final locking.
The Selected candidate can download the provisional allotment order on the official website www.tnhealth,tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the provisional allotment order.
All candidates should make sure sufficient fund is available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee. The fee structure is available on the official websites www.tnhealth,tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org.
The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates for verification.
If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice. The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
