PGIMER issues notice on Spot counselling for MD Hospital Administration, Master in Public Health July 2020

Chandigarh: Through a recent notice, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER) has informed about the Spot counselling for Admission to MD (Hospital Administration) and Master in Public Health Courses (July-2020 Session).

SPOT counselling for admission to fill vacant seats in MD (Hospital Administration) and Master of Public Health courses (July, 2020 session) will be held offline at Dean's Office, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 11.09.2020 at 11.30 AM. All eligible and interested candidates are to be reported in Dean (Academic) office at 11.00 AM on above date, time and venue mentioned above. The counselling will start sharply at 11.30 AM. The numbers of vacant reserved seats converted into General seats, as there is no candidates qualify in the category is as under:-

i) MD (Hospital Administration) course

Category & No. of Seats

SC -01

(Converted into General category as there is no candidate qualify in the category)

ii) Master in Public Health (MPH) course

Category & No. of Seats

ST: 01

(Converted into General category as there is no candidate qualify in the category)


1. All the candidates who scored minimum prescribed percentage in general category MD (Hospital Administration) and Master in Public Health (MPH) course in the entrance examination held on 14.06.2020 and 22.06.2020 are eligible to attend the counselling.

2. The candidates should bring their rank letter, admit card and other original certificates / testimonials
3. The candidates to whom the seats will be allotted have to deposit the requisite fee of Rs. 2485/- on the spot to confirm the seat.
4. The personal appearance of the applicant is mandatory. Candidates coming from states other than Chandigarh/Tricity should either return within 72 hours to avoid 14 days quarantine or should come prepared to join the course (if allotted seat) and their stay at Chandigarh.
5. The candidates are advised not to accompany more than one person in the counselling hall to maintain social distancing.
