New Delhi : Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the last date for submission of Post MBBS Diploma applications for seeking accreditation with NBEMS with respect to the July / August 2022 application cycle.
All applicant Hospitals /Institutions /Medical Colleges are hereby informed that the extension has been made to October 14.
NBEMS had released the application form for accreditation with NBEMS for Post MBBS Diploma (July / August 2022 cycle).
National Board of Examinations accredits hospitals/institutions for running Post MBBS 02 years Diploma courses in eight Broad specialties.
The hospitals/institutions willing to run any of these courses can apply for Accreditation with NBEMS. The hospitals running three years DNB/DrNB courses, in any of the eight specialties for which Diploma course have been started, can also apply for Diploma courses with the same infrastructure. However, the faculty which has been considered for the DNB course will not be considered for the Diploma course i.e. the applicant hospital shall be required to have separate faculty for the Diploma courses.
NBE has also released the information bulletin on details regarding the application form, course and accreditation fee, stipend guidelines, application process and minimum accreditation eligibility criteria. The concerned authorities are advised to check out the pertinent details mentioned below.
NBEMS has launched Post MBBS two-year Diploma courses in the following Broad specialties:
• Anesthesiology
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Paediatrics
• Family Medicine
• Ophthalmology
• Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
• Radio Diagnosis
• Tuberculosis & Chest Disease
The last date for submission of the application form has been extended further as tabulated below:
