PwD Certificates to be issued Online: MCC
New Delhi: Soon the candidates who are desirous to get a PwD seat through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling process will be able to get the disability certificate issued from the designated centres through the online mode only.
For the same, the MCC in association with NIC is in the process of making software and the facility will be provided soon.
Issuing a notice for all the participating NEET PG candidates, the MCC stated:
In order to make the complete system of generating the PwD certificates for the eligible candidates transparent and hassle-free, the Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS, MoHFW in association with NIC is in the process of making a software for the same
Hence, the candidates who are desirous to get a PwD seat through the MCC counselling process may get the disability certificate issued from the designated centres through online mode only. The facility for the same will be provided soon and the same will be intimated in due course of time.
However, the candidates who have already got their disability certificate issued from the designated centres in offline mode will have to contact the designated centre for further assistance.
No other certificate except the one generated through the MCC portal in online mode will be accepted at the time of admission, the MCC added.
Earlier, there were 13 such Disability Certification Centres authorized by the MCC of DGHS. However, to facilitate PwD students to obtain certificates in a hassle-free manner, MCC of DGHS included two more Disability Certification Centres this year.
