WBUHS Extends Date Of Uploading Documents For Research Aptitude Test 2023, details
West Bengal: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has extended the documents' upload date before the synopsis confirmation seminar for candidates exempted/qualified in the written entrance test Research Aptitude Test (RAT 2023).
As per the notice, the candidates can upload the documents till 19.05.2023, starting from today (16.05.2023). No further date of extension will be considered.
The RAT 2023 was held on 4.03.2023 from 12 noon to 1-30 pm. The entrance test had 100 questions (MCQs) divided into two parts: Group A, comprising 50 questions on Research Methodology, and Group B, comprising 50 domain-specific questions.
Candidates who have obtained a Master's degree or equivalent Post Graduate degree recognized by corresponding regulatory bodies in various disciplines of Basic sciences, Medical sciences, Dental sciences, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences, Technology associated with health sciences, Interdisciplinary topics related to health sciences and all other courses of WBUHS are only eligible for PhD courses.
Admission will be based on the criteria notified by the University, the guidelines /norms in this regard issued by the UGC and other statutory bodies, and taking into account the reservation policy of the State Government applicable to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) differently-abled and other categories of candidates.
PhD program will be for a minimum duration of 3 years for full-time and part-time candidates, including course work and a maximum of 6 years. Women candidates and candidates with a disability of more than 40 percent may be allowed a relaxation of two years for PhD in the maximum duration. Women candidates may be provided Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire PhD duration for up to 240 days.
