AIIMS Announces Result For INI CET July 2023 Session, 1191 Seats included in Final seat Position list

AIIMS Announces Result For INI CET July 2023 Session, 1191 Seats included in Final seat Position list

Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the result for INI CET July 2023 Session. The courses included are MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years), and MDS courses. The final seat position has also been released.

The result consists of a Roll Number wise list of provisionally qualified candidates in the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) based on performance in the online CBT examination held on 07-05-2023 for admission into the above postgraduate courses for the July 2023 Session at the Institutes of National Importance (INI) for medical education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and Fifteen other AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru & SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

This result is published based on information provided by the candidates in the online application for INI-CET without any scrutiny regarding detailed eligibility, category certificates, sponsorship certificate, etc., as applicable.

All candidates (including those who have not qualified) have been awarded percentile scores based on their performance in INI-CET held on 07-05-2023. This can be viewed in "MyPage" on the portal (www.aiimsexams.ac.in) after login using your Candidate ID and Password.

The following are the qualifying percentile –

1. For Unreserved (UR), EWS/Sponsored/Deputed/Foreign National/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) - 50 Percentile

2. OBC, SC, ST, PwBD - 45 Percentile

3. Bhutanese Nationals (PGI-Chandigarh only) - 45 Percentile

In cases where more than one candidate secures equal MARKS, the tie has been resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially –

1. Less negative marks

2. Older by age

Status after preliminary verification of the uploaded certificate (OBC/EWS) will be provided in the email. The validity of the category certificates will apply as published in the INI-CET information brochure (Prospectus Part A) – July 2023 Session on page 24 in important dates/notice.

Candidates who claim community reservations/relaxation, fail to provide valid certificates, and are within the cut-off percentile for unreserved seats will be treated as Unreserved. Candidates who claim community reservations/relaxation, fail to provide valid certificates, and are not within the cut-off percentile of unreserved seats will not be considered qualified even if their roll no appears in this result.

Further, AIIMS has announced that this result is provisional, subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as laid down in the advertisement and prospectus published. Selection is subject to the verification of eligibility, documents in original, etc., as applicable to the respective INIs as per the prospectus. Any qualified candidate who fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria of respective INIs will not be considered for seat allocation in that Institute. In case of any discrepancy detected at any stage, candidature/admission will be liable to be canceled (even after admission).

The candidates note that the detailed procedure for making choices & preferences of institutes and Subjects for seat allocation based on INI-CET Rank will be notified on the website www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

All communication will be made through the website/email/SMS on www.aiimsexams.ac.in/ registered email address/ registered mobile number of the candidates. AIIMS is not responsible for any loss due to delay in access to the website/email/SMS or failure of non-delivery of email/SMS. All candidates should remain alert and visit the website for more details.

The result is provisional and subject to verification of data & records.

To claim that candidates are residents/domiciles of the states mentioned above, they should produce a certificate from the Tehsildar that their mother has been a state resident for 07 years or has owned or possessed land or property, or house in that state. Candidates submitting Domicile Certificate in any other language than English must provide a certified translated version at admission.

PWBD category - 5% of the seats are reserved for PWBD (between 40% to 70% disability) per the Govt. of India regulations in all courses offered at NIMHANS except for DM/MCh courses.

Institute Stipendiary - No reservations applicable for MCh, DM, and MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Courses. Seat Allocation will be purely on a merit basis.

North–Eastern Domicile, applicants should belong to Domiciles of Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura & Uttarakhand states.

PGIMER, Chandigarh –

1. In the case of Rural Area candidates, five percent of seats will be allotted on a horizontal basis.

2. As per provisions (Chapter VI Clouse 32) of the rights of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Act 2016, five percent of seats will be allotted horizontally. The disability certificate of the candidate should be issued by the authorized Medical Board of the State Govt./Govt. of India or any other Competent authority authorized in this regard by the State/ Government of India.

3. Five percent of seats of the PwBD category and five percent of the Rural Area Service (RAS) category shall be allotted horizontally per the AIIMS pattern.

No change in seat position of Foreign National / OCI / Sponsored/ Bhutanese National candidates. The other terms and conditions mentioned in the prospectus will remain the same. The responsibility for infrastructure/faculty approval by SFC/SAC/GB is with the respective ED, AIIMS. PWBD seats are included in the total seats. SCTIMST Trivandrum, no seat has been allotted.
