Apollo Hospitals Partners with Indonesia's Mayapada Healthcare to boost healthcare services

New Delhi: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mayapada Healthcare Group, Indonesia. The partnership according to the healthcare major is set to transform the region’s healthcare landscape by enhancing medical capabilities, clinical programmes, and operational excellence.
The MoU was signed by the Minister of Health, Government of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, reaffirming both organizations’ commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Indonesia and the surrounding region.
Through this collaboration, Apollo Hospitals will provide management expertise and operational services for Mayapada Healthcare’s upcoming hospital in Batam, Indonesia. The agreement also includes exchanging clinical knowledge and program development in specialized fields such as oncology, cardiology, neurology, and
transplant surgery
.
Both organizations will leverage advanced technologies like Tele-Radiology, E-ICU, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs to enhance patient care and accessibility. Training programs for doctors and nurses will focus on evidence-based practices, specialized care, and advanced medical techniques. Apollo Hospitals plans to deploy up to 1,000 specialists, including doctors, nurses, and technicians, to support Mayapada Healthcare’s facilities.
The collaboration will also promote online education for healthcare professionals through Apollo’s Medvarsity platform and initiate a Double Degree Nursing Program, providing Indonesian healthcare professionals with global exposure. Additionally, Mayapada Healthcare and Apollo Hospitals will jointly conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and host international healthcare events to foster professional development.
