Hyderabad: CARE Hospitals, a renowned healthcare provider, on Tuesday announced the launch of an ‘AI-powered, non-invasive therapy’ programme in collaboration with JOGO Health.
This pioneering initiative in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, offering protocol-based, non-invasive treatment pathways for patients with complex neurological, urological, and gastroenterological conditions, the hospitals said in a release here.
Developed in the U.S. by a Johnson & Johnson JLABS-incubated company, JOGO Health integrates patented wearable EMG sensors, artificial intelligence, and real-time biofeedback to stimulate neuroplasticity and aid patients in regaining lost muscle function.
Clinically validated through research collaborations with Harvard Medical School and the Mayo Clinic, this cutting-edge technology is already in use at top medical centres across the U.S., Canada, and Asia.
Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Mathur, Group Chief of Medical Services, CARE Hospitals, said, “This collaboration with JOGO Health marks a significant advancement in patient care. By leveraging AI-powered therapy, we are introducing a revolutionary treatment option that is non-invasive, effective, and accessible to patients with chronic neurological, urological, and gastroenterological conditions.”
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that on World Obesity Day 2025, CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, emphasizes the urgent need for a medical approach to obesity, recognizing its strong links to diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.
With this year’s theme, “Changing Systems, Healthier Lives,” the hospital highlights that obesity is not just about weight—it is a major driver of chronic illnesses that require structured, expert-led intervention. Dr Venugopal Pareek, Sr Consultant GI Laparoscopic, Bariatric Surgeon & Robotic Surgeon at CARE Hospitals, stresses the deeper health risks associated with obesity. “Obesity is not an isolated condition. It alters metabolism, disrupts hormone balance, and accelerates the onset of diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular issues and certain cancers. Addressing it requires more than temporary solutions—it demands a medical approach that ensures long-term health benefits.”
