According to hospital sources, the doctor had arrived in the morning and attended to several outpatients before going to his room for rest. The staff started to feel concerned after he had not left his room for a long time. On checking the other section of his room, they discovered that the doctor had died by suicide. His colleagues immediately alerted the police.

"He went to his room but did not return for a long time. Our staff went to the other side of the room and saw that he had died by suicide. Other doctors and staff informed the police immediately," the hospital staff told TOI

After this, the police reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation, registering a case and launching an investigation in this regard. The exact cause of the suspected suicide remains unclear.
