Anakapalli private doctor found dead, cops suspect suicide
Initial investigation suggests it to be a case of suicide. Siva Kumar might have committed suicide by jumping from the apartment, due to depression as he did not succeed in improving his medical practice apart from having some personal issues.
Visakhapatnam: In an unfortunate incident, an Anakapalli-based doctor has been found dead in the cellar of his apartment, at Raghuram Colony. Police found his body and suspect it was a case of suicide.
The deceased was identified as 32-year-old Koilada Sivakumar, a doctor at a private hospital in Anakapalli.
According to The Hindu report, just like any other ordinary day, Dr Kumar went to the hospital and returned home after completing his duty on Saturday. The police came to the spot after the residents of the apartment found him lying in a pool of blood with severe head injuries in the cellar of his apartment. The incident was witnessed by the residents at 9 pm after he left his house.

Anakapalli (Town) Inspector L. Bhaskar Rao inspected the scene of the crime with his team and said "Initial investigation suggests it to be a case of suicide. Siva Kumar might have committed suicide by jumping from the apartment, due to depression as he did not succeed in improving his medical practice apart from having some personal issues."
A case has been registered by the police under Section 174 Cr. P.C (cause of death not known).
