While investigating the case, the police found that the doctor reached the dam by riding his bike, left the bike nearby, and jumped into the dam to end his life.

As per a media report in TOI, the deceased was a resident of Dhanwantari Colony, Sewagram and the treasurer of the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors.

It is suspected that the doctor left his house on Friday and took the extreme step in the evening on the same day. However, the reason behind his death is unknown and an investigation is underway after a case was registered by the police.

In response to the complaints of former Ridhora Sarpanch Arvind Siram, Selu police launched a preliminary investigation under the supervision of PI Ravindra Gaikwad. Later, his body was sent for postmortem.
