Dr. Archana suicide case: Prime accused arrested from Jaipur
Jaipur: The prime accused in the alleged suicide case of Dr. Archana Sharma in Rajasthan's Dausa district has been arrested here on Thursday, police said.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported on this incident that unable to bear the pressure of allegations of medical negligence and murder charges, Dr. Archana had committed suicide on March 29. Dr. Archana allegedly hanged herself inside a room of the hospital after the family of a patient, who died during childbirth, created a ruckus blaming her for the death of the patient and filed an FIR against the late doctor and her husband.
The main accused, Shiv Shankar Joshi alias Balya, along with others, was part of the sit-in outside the hospital, police said, adding a reward of Rs 5,000 was announced on his arrest.
