Dr SN Medical College woman doctor found dead
Jodhpur: In a tragic incident, a woman doctor from Dr Sampurnanand Medical College and Hospital, who was preparing for her postgraduate exam, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her hostel room.
Her decomposed body was discovered lying on the bed after a foul smell emanated from her room, which prompted the hospital management to inform the police. The police then reached the spot late at night and broke the door and entered the room. Preliminary investigation suggested that the body was at least two days old.
While it is still unclear whether the doctor died by suicide or if there was any foul play involved, police investigations indicate that the doctor had been suffering from schizophrenia and was undergoing treatment. She reportedly kept to herself and avoided social interactions.
