FIR against BHU Anaesthetist in 2019 death case

Varanasi: The Rohania police in Varanasi have registered a murder case against an anaesthetist and professor from the Anaesthesia Department of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and one unidentified person, in connection with the death of a hospital worker in July 2019. The case was registered following directions from the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court in Varanasi.
The FIR was lodged based on a complaint filed by the deceased's brother, who alleged that his brother was deliberately killed by the accused anaesthetist. The victim was working as an assistant at a private hospital in Chitaipur, where the accused reportedly used to renderwork as an anaesthetist.
