The incident happened while the superintendent was inspecting the sonography center at the private hospital where the complainant doctor worked, when the former demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the doctor to not give a negative report about the sonography center after the inspection, reports the Indian Express.

Following that, a complaint was filed by the doctor against the medical superintendent at the ACB, Pune office. The officials of the ACB attempted to catch him in the act by laying a trap. The medical superintendent was caught taking Rs 5000 as a bribe from the private doctor after negotiation on Tuesday when the ACB officials caught the accused red-handed.

After that, an FIR was filed at the Bhor police station, as per the Indian Express report. The case is being presently investigated by police inspector Shriram Shinde.

The accused has been identified as a 60-year-old doctor by the ACB, whereas the complainant is a doctor who runs a private hospital in Bhor.
