Gynaecologist Dr Chandrika Gunturu bags title of Mrs World Peace International 2024

Nirmal: Competing against 140 participants across the country, Dr Chandrika Gunturu, a gynaecologist from Nirmal bagged a remarkable achievement by winning the title of Mrs World Peace International 2024.  

Dr Chandrika's success serves as a source of motivation for numerous individuals pursuing a career in the medical field and aspiring to accomplish great things. As a dedicated practising doctor, she has demonstrated exceptional skills by winning a beauty pageant competition.  

According to a Telangana Today report, she won the title of Mrs Intellectual for her wisdom and ability to make a difference in people’s lives. Accordingly, she received a crown and certificate from Glamour Gurgaon.

Organized by the visionary Barkha Nangia, founder of Glamour Gurgaon, this prestigious event, an epitome of elegance and grandeur, celebrated the multifaceted achievements of married women from around the globe. Conceptualized and brought to life by Barkha Nangia, Mrs World International aims to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of married women to their families and society, while also empowering them to maintain their individuality and pursue their passions.

As per the Telangana Today, she was practising gynaecology at Devibai Hospital in Nirmal for six years. She said that she had qualified for the finals of the event by standing at the top at a State-level competition held by the organization. 

Dr Chandrika said she had developed a penchant for beauty pageants during childhood. She is known for giving tips relating to infertility to barren couples and various health problems of women on Instagram, with a question and answer session every Saturday.
