Jaunpur Physiotherapist killed after throat slit by Chinese manjha
Banned Manjha Claims Life of Physiotherapist in Line Bazaar, Kerakat
Kerakat: In a tragic incident, a physiotherapist lost his life on Wednesday after his throat was slit by a banned Chinese manjha while returning home on his motorcycle in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh, once again highlighting the growing menace of illegal kite-flying thread and the lack of effective enforcement.
According to news reports, the victim, a resident of Sheikhzada Mohalla near Pachhatiya in Line Bazaar, Kerakat, was en route to the district hospital to attend to a patient when the accident occurred. While riding his bike, his neck came into contact with a sharp Chinese manjha. Despite wearing a helmet, he suffered severe injuries. On receiving the news, his father and brother rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
