Lucknow: 50-year-old doctor allegedly booked for raping, blackmailing tuition teacher

Lucknow: An FIR has been lodged against a middle-aged doctor for allegedly raping a teacher and blackmailing her with a videotape in which the accused recorded the act. The accused has been raping the victim for several months.  

The accused aged 50 started raping the victim when she went to his house to give tuition classes to his children. In his house, the accused forced the victim to rape by making morphed pictures of her. The accused used the picture and also a recorded video to blackmail and rape her for several months. The accused used to rape her in a room after locking the doors. Following the assault, the victim got pregnant and was forced to abort the baby. The accused allegedly gave abortion pills forcibly to her.

After the victim noticed that her health condition worsened, she immediately told her family members about the matter. The family members of the victim later went to the police station to file a complaint against the accused. 

Lucknow North Zone, DCP, AS Chinnappa, told India Today, "The victim used to teach tuition to doctor's children. The accused somehow managed to click her pictures and edited them. He used obscene images to blackmail the victim and raped her many times. He made a video of sexual assault and raped her on multiple occasions using the video. We have registered a case against the accused and a further investigation is underway."
