Hyderabad: Taking disciplinary action against five doctors, the Telangana Medical Council has suspended their medical registration for a period ranging from 6 months to 1 year.

The council's action against these doctors comes as it found that these doctors were involved in sponsoring and associating with unqualified practitioners at a quacks' event, or they misrepresented themselves by displaying unrecognised qualifications.
