The incident came to light after his friend, learnt about his whereabouts from the doctor's car driver.

The victim went to the hotel on Wednesday and asked his driver to go home while he stayed in the hotel room. As he did not turn up for work on Thursday, his friend tried to contact him but could not reach him. He then enquired the driver about his whereabouts and went to the hotel.

As soon as he reached there, he was shocked to see that the hotel room was locked from inside and the doctor was not responding. Subsequently, the hotel staff broke open the door and was shocked to see the doctor lying dead on the bed. An empty syringe and glucose bottle were also recovered from the spot.

A suicide note found on the table said that no one was responsible for his death.
