TN: Govt doctor allegedly commits suicide by administering lethal injection
Chennai: A 34-year-old doctor attached to Government Royapettah hospital allegedly committed suicide in a star hotel in Mylapore on Thursday morning by administering himself with a lethal injection.
The deceased was working as a general practitioner at the Government Royapettah Hospital (GRH) for the past three years.
Police sources told UNI that the doctor has left a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for his death.

The incident came to light after his friend, learnt about his whereabouts from the doctor's car driver.
The victim went to the hotel on Wednesday and asked his driver to go home while he stayed in the hotel room. As he did not turn up for work on Thursday, his friend tried to contact him but could not reach him. He then enquired the driver about his whereabouts and went to the hotel.
