Jodhpur: The medical fraternity mourns the loss of a brilliant doctor, Dr. Prakash Gupta, an anaesthesia specialist at Goyal Hospitals in Jodhpur, who passed away at the age of 40 after suffering a cardiac arrest in his sleep.

Dr. Gupta was an alumnus of the Department of Anaesthesiology at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (MGMC&H), Jaipur, and a critical care alumnus of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Jaipur. He was serving at Goyal Hospitals, Jodhpur, at the time of his demise.

"He was just 40 years of age, he was a seasoned Critical care physician with a great sense of humor. He was one of my bestie. I tried contacting him many times during my stay at Jodhpur for ICACON, 2025, but wasn't able to connect. Me and my family pray for his soul to rest in peace, and may God Almighty give strength to his family to be strong during these tough times," said Dr. Anand Kumar Jain, Assistant Professor-Organ Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care at MGMC&H, Jaipur.
