According to the news reports, the collector spent nearly three hours at the hospital, touring the premises and interacting directly with patients to assess the quality of services being provided. During the inspection, it was found that 63 staff members failed to report to duty on time, while 19 others were absent without any sanctioned leave.

Expressing strong displeasure over the findings, the collector also raised serious concerns about the sanitation conditions in the hospital. He reprimanded the sanitation contractor for failing to complete ongoing developmental works.
Taking serious note of the lapses, the collector directed hospital authorities to ensure strict adherence to duty timings and warned that disciplinary action would be initiated against staff found negligent in their responsibilities, reports Deccan Chronicle.
Hanumantha Rao visited every ward in the hospital and interacted with patients to gather firsthand feedback on medical care. He reviewed the functioning of key departments, including delivery, paediatrics, and other critical units.
As per TOI news reports, the collector spoke to some patients in the emergency wing to confirm if they were receiving timely medical attention. He made it clear that the government would not compromise on the quality of medical services and the food being provided to the patients in the hospital.

Medical Dialogues had previously reported that show-cause notices have been issued to two doctors in Bhopal after serious irregularities were found in an inspection report of NRI Nursing College and Arnav Hospital, which is alleged to have been fabricated. The two health officials involved, the District Immunisation Officer and another doctor posted at UPHC Sai Baba Nagar, have been accused of failing to physically verify the actual condition of the hospital during the inspection and of including false information in the report.
