AP: Trust Hospital moves to new premises with ultra-modern equipment, more specialties
The hospital is unique in having the most modern Phillips Ajurian 3m 15 high end cath lab, the first of its kind in both Godavari districts which is vital for the cardiology unit for performing cardiac surgeries and other critical procedures.
Kakinada: The Trust hospital established by a group of specialist doctors along the Sarpavaram road in the city, with a view to providing the best medical care to the people of both the urban and rural areas, has completed a decade of its existence and now ready to move to the new premises with all ultra-modern medical equipment and more specialties.
The hospital Managing director Dr Y Kalyan Chakravarty while briefing the advancements made by the hospital said that after state bifurcation, the Trust hospital by its committed service and specialties almost stood in the number one position in the state.

He said the achievement was made possible by the togetherness of the team of doctors with their hard work and brilliant service with commitment and dedication.

The hospital has performed 25 kidney transplantations, 10,000 angioplasty procedures,3,000 bypass surgeries till now. The hospital by its round-the-clock trauma critical care and other emergencies has achieved the distinction of only such a hospital in coastal districts.
Now the hospital is having all medical and surgical specialties with experienced specialists on its rolls' he added.
Dr Ramakrishna anesthetist and critical care specialist and one of the Directors of the hospital said that more specialties were being added including Traumatology, organ transplantation, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Burns wing.
Nephrology chief Dr Somayajulu, Cardiology chief Ramakrishna, Dr Nishant, Joint Managing director Dr. N Uma, General medicine chief Dr Phaniu Ramana Bushan and others were among those who attended.
