Ayushman Bhav Campaign: Delhi AIIMS to deploy Ayushman Mitras, monthly training sessions soon
New Delhi: To promote the Ayushman Bhav campaign launched by the central government, the premiere health institution, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has decided to deploy Ayushman Mitras at patient admission counters and provide monthly training and sensitisation sessions to faculty members and residents.
An office memorandum issued by the Director of AIIMS, Dr M Srinivas stated that the institute has decided to promote Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) as part of 'Ayushman Bhav' Campaign of Government of India.
The central government has launched the 'Ayushman Bhav' Campaign with an aim to provide saturation coverage of healthcare services, reaching every village and town in the country. As a part of this campaign, the institute has decided to ensure identification and facilitation of all AB-PMJAY beneficiaries visiting the OPDs of AIIMS New Delhi or getting admitted to the inpatient wards herein and to actively promote all the components of the campaign.
