Bengaluru: Pvt hospital's portico collapses; 1 dead and three labourers injured

Bengaluru: Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services personnel have rescued four labourers stuck beneath the collapsed portico of a private hospital in Bengaluru whereas one labourer had died, unfortunately.
There was no movement of patients or people at the time of the incident at at 6.15 a.m. on Saint Martha's hospital premises. The hospital authorities have promised to provide free treatment to the injured labourers.
The fire department stated that the building was constructed poorly which could be the reason of the incident. At around 7 am, the fire department released a crane and two earthmovers along with two rescue team upon receiving calls from the site. It took nearly three hours to get the workers out of the debris.
