CK Birla Hospital appoints Dr Anshul Kumar Jain as Director of Cardiac Sciences

CK Birla Hospital, Punjabi Bagh has appointed interventional cardiologist Dr Anshul Kumar Jain as Director of Cardiac Sciences to lead its cardiac sciences department and cardiovascular care services.

New Delhi: Dr Anshul Kumar Jain has been appointed as Director of Cardiac Sciences at CK Birla Hospital, Punjabi Bagh, where he will spearhead the hospital's cardiac sciences department and strengthen its cardiovascular care services. 

CK Birla Hospital, Punjabi Bagh is a multispecialty healthcare facility in West Delhi and part of the CKA Birla Group. The hospital provides multidisciplinary medical and surgical care, with a focus on clinical quality, advanced treatment technologies, and patient-centred healthcare services. It serves patients across Delhi NCR through a range of specialised clinical departments and modern healthcare infrastructure.

Dr Jain brings over three decades of experience in interventional cardiology, clinical practice, and departmental leadership. Before joining CK Birla Hospital in July 2026, he served as Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh from June 2024 to July 2026.

Earlier, he was Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Shri Aggarsain International Hospital, Rohini, where he led the department from June 2019 to May 2024.

His previous appointments include Senior Cardiologist at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh and Jaipur Golden Hospital, Rohini from October 2013 to May 2019. He also served as Senior Consultant and Unit Head at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute from September 2010 to October 2013, and as Senior Consultant and Unit Head at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, New Delhi from June 2006 to August 2010.

Dr Jain has also held senior consultant positions at Ridge Heart Center, Sir Sunderlal Jain Charitable Hospital; Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute; and St Stephen’s Hospital, New Delhi.

He underwent advanced international training in interventional cardiology through fellowships at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia from January 2002 to June 2003, and at The Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, USA from July 2003 to June 2004.

Earlier in his career, he worked as Associate Consultant in the Department of Interventional Cardiology at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Center, Mumbai. He also served as Lecturer in the Department of Cardiology at Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
