The first hearing of this petition was held on May 4 2021 and court had directed the State and Central Government to take detailed information on all the issues mentioned in the petition on today from the concerned department and give a positive explanation before the court.

During today's hearing, Jaleel argued before the Court regarding the medical vacancies in Aurangabad Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Aurangabad Municipal Health Department, Zilla Parishad Health Department, Super Specialty Building, Aurangabad Civil Hospital Chikalthana and Government Cancer Hospital.

On this the Public Prosecutor Adv Sujit Karlekar submitted all the information regarding the medical vacancies in Aurangabad district to the Court and assured the Court on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra that the State Government will take action to fill 50 percent of the medical vacancies in the next three months

MP Jaleel objected to this and argued before the Court that the recruitment process should be completed as soon as possible and that it should benefit the patients of Aurangabad district in the current Corona situation.

He pointed out to the Court that last year, in June 2020, the Government of Maharashtra had decided to fill the vacancies in Class 3 and Class 4 by a Government Decision.

But to date, no action has been taken by the government to fill the vacancies, he said.

The parliamentarian argued before the Court that the entire process of recruitment of vacancies in various hospitals in Aurangabad district should be under the supervision of the High Court.
