Foetus allegedly carried away by stray dog at Noida MCH Hospital
Noida: A shocking incident at the Maternity and Child Health (MCH) hospital in Sector 110, Noida, has triggered widespread outrage after a stray dog was allegedly seen carrying a three-month-old foetus outside the hospital premises.
The incident took place on Saturday, but came to light after a video of the dog with a foetus went viral on Sunday.
The victim, a resident of Banghel in Noida, was taken to the government-run 50-bed MCH hospital by her husband after she reportedly fell down the stairs at her home. Doctors at the facility confirmed the miscarriage and informed the family that an abortion would be necessary.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Phase 2 station house officer Vindyachal Tiwari said, “The doctors informed the family that the woman had suffered a miscarriage and they had to abort the foetus.”
As per the media reports by Hindustan Times, after the procedure, the hospital staff properly packed the foetus in a bag and handed it over to the family. “Around 3.30 pm, the woman’s husband placed the foetus beside the woman outside MCH and went to get medicines. While the woman was seated on a chair, a stray dog took away the foetus before she could react,” said a police officer.
